| An In-Person Tribute to
Actress and Author Jamie Lee Curtis
This is an Aero Theatre Exclusive!
Actress and best-selling childrens author Jamie Lee Curtis first
caught American moviegoers' attention in John Carpenter's 1978 landmark horror film HALLOWEEN,
playing nimble-minded, gutsy teen Laurie Strode, who must match wits (and blades) with
neighborhood terror Mike Myers. Showing impressive versatility, Curtis was able to expand
her early work in the horror arena into a career that has encompassed a wide variety of
genres and roles, including her funny, sexy turn as a seductive con artist in A FISH
CALLED WANDA and her Golden Globe-winning performance opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger
in the action-comedy TRUE LIES. Curtis also has proved delightfully game in
tween fare such as the 2003 re-make of FREAKY FRIDAY in which she endearingly
takes on the dual role of an organized workaholic and a flaky adolescent.
Please join us for an in-person weekend tribute to the
career of Jamie Lee Curtis, which also includes a screening of THE FOG and a signing of
her new childrens book My Mommy Hung the Moon.
