AMERICAN CINEMATHEQUE TO CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN WITH THE
WEST COAST PREMIERE OF
"FROM DUSK TILL DAWN 3: THE HANGMANS DAUGHTER"
Director P.J. Pesce and Cast Members In-Person!
October 30, 1999
HOLLYWOOD The American Cinematheque celebrates Halloween with a Saturday, October 30th West Coast Premiere of FROM DUSK TILL DAWN 3: THE HANGMANS DAUGHTER (1999, Dimension Films, 94 min.) at the Lloyd E. Rigler Theatre at the Egyptian Theatre (6712 Hollywood Boulevard between McCadden and Las Palmas in Hollywood. There will be two screenings, a 7:00 PM and an 11:00 PM.
Director P.J. Pesce (THE DESPERATE TRAIL) outdoes Sergio Leone in this hell-bound, bloodsucking, Spaghetti Western prequel to the two FROM DUSK TILL DAWN films. Sixties icon Michael Parks stars as real-life author Ambrose Bierce, looking for the Mexican Revolution in 1914 when he runs smack into hot-tempered bandido Marco Leonardi (LIKE WATER FOR CHOCOLATE) and luscious runaway Ara Celi. This unlikely crew lands in the jaws (and ample bosom) of vampire-madame Sonia Braga and her whorehouse-of-the-undead, La Tetilla del Diablo. Co-starring Rebecca Gayheart (SCREAM 2) and Temuera Morrison (ONCE WERE WARRIORS), HANGMANS DAUGHTER was produced by the team of Lawrence Bender, Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. Director P.J. Pesce and cast members scheduled to appear at both screenings.
Reception with live music to follow 7:00 PM screening. Ticket Price: $10.00/General, $7.00 Members for 7:00 PM show only; regular ticket price of $7.00/General, $5.00/Members for 11:00 PM show.
This program is subject to change without notice. Guests are subject to availibility.
